- Loose Leaf Paper (college or wide ruled) - At Least 1 1/2" Binder - 1 set of 5 Tab Dividers - Ruler - 2 Packages of Index Cards - Scissors - Pencils - Colored Pencils - At least 4 different colors of highlighters - Spiral Notebook - At least 4 glue sticks |
Student's Must Bring to Class Each Day
- Loose Leaf Paper - Math Binder - Pencil(s) (sharpened prior to warning bell), I do not loan pencils - Index Cards (at lest 10 blank) - Scissors - Glue Stick - Highlighters - Colored Pencils ***Spiral Notebook will be used for Journal and will be left in the classroom at all times |

- I do not give 0's for missing work, I give a 1. That indicates to the student, parent and myself that time was given for the assignment to be turned in and the student did not. - Grades will be posted at a minimum at the beginning of each for the prior week's work. |
Grading:
10% - Homework Homework is given nightly and must be turned in the day due in order to receive full credit. Each day late 10% will be deducted from the grade. After the 5th day a grade of 1 will be given for the assignment 10% - Class Participation Full points for Class Participation are granted to students that are prepared for class each day and participate in classroom activities and discussions. A maximum of 3 grades will be given per week. Students not prepared with their proper supplies will be docked points for that day. 20% - Grading Period Project A project will be given to the students the 2nd week of each grading period. The students will be expected to work on the project throughout the following 7 week period and provide progress reports as specified in the instructions for the project. 20% - Quizzes There will be at least 6 per grading period. Students missing a class prior to the quiz should consult the website for classroom activities missed and be prepared when they enter class with any questions about the content material. They will be expected to take the quiz either that class period or during lunch the following day. 30% - Test Tests will be announced at least 5 class periods ahead of time. A study guide will be placed on the website for students to complete and ask questions about. The day of the test students that bring their study guides with them and turn them in may receive up to 5 extra credit points on their test. 10% - Notebook Check Students are expected to have neat, well organized notebooks. Sections will be assigned to students as follows: Formulas, Homework/Classwork, Quizzes, Projects and Misc |
